Agronet Terms of Use

Welcome to Agronet! By using our website, mobile applications, or any services provided by Agronet Corp. (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, and any additional posted policies.

If you do not agree, please stop using the Services.

1. Account

• Some Services require registration with a valid email and password.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Do not share your account without our consent.
• If your account is compromised, notify us immediately at mail@agronet.ca

• We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create security risks.

2. Using the Services

You agree not to:

• Post illegal, false, misleading, or harmful content.
• Violate others’ intellectual property rights.
• Upload viruses, malware, spam, or malicious code.
• Attempt to scrape, hack, or disrupt our systems.
• Collect data from users without their consent.

We may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

3. Content and Reviews

• Content on Agronet may come from Agronet, users, or third-party sources.
• By submitting content (posts, listings, images, reviews), you grant Agronet a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it for platform functionality.
• Reviews must be truthful and fair.
• We may remove reviews that are abusive, false, or violate these Terms.

4. Marketplace Disclaimer

Agronet is a platform connecting users (farmers, landowners, service providers, buyers, sellers).

Agronet is not:

• a contractor, employer, agent, or service provider
• responsible for the quality, safety, accuracy, or delivery of services or products
• a party to transactions between users

All agreements, disputes, and interactions between users are their own responsibility.

5. Fees and Paid Services

• Most Services are free. Paid features will clearly display pricing before use.
• All payments are in CAD and are non-refundable, unless required by law.
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes.

6. Intellectual Property

• Do not post content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
• Report violations to mail@agronet.ca

• All Agronet trademarks, software, logos, and content are property of Agronet Corp.

7. Service Availability and Force Majeure

Agronet aims for 99.9% uptime, but this is a target, not a guarantee.

The Services may be unavailable due to:

• maintenance or updates
• hosting or network provider issues
• outages, bugs, or service errors
• DDoS attacks
• power failures
• natural disasters or severe weather
• government actions
• other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We are not liable for delays, failures, or interruptions caused by any such events.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Agronet is not liable for:

• direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• loss of revenue, profits, data, or goodwill
• issues caused by downtime, bugs, errors, or delays
• actions or failures of third-party providers
• loss of business opportunities
• user disputes

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Services is to stop using the platform.

Maximum liability is limited to:

the greater of 100 CAD or the total fees you paid in the last 12 months.

9. No Warranty

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee:

• uninterrupted or error-free operation
• that data will be saved or backed up
• any specific results or performance
• continuous uptime
• accuracy of content, listings, or user information
• AI-generated recommendations

10. AI-Based Tools Disclaimer (Agronet AI Diagnost)

Agronet may provide AI-based suggestions, including plant diagnostics and recommendations.

These are informational only.

Agronet does not provide:

• agricultural expertise
• professional advice
• guarantees of accuracy or outcomes

Users should consult qualified professionals when making decisions.

Agronet is not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on AI suggestions.

11. Third-Party Services

Agronet uses third-party providers for hosting, analytics, payments, mapping, SMS/email delivery, and other functions.

We are not responsible for:

• outages or failures of these providers
• their policies, terms, or actions
• the accuracy of third-party information

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

12. Data Loss Disclaimer

We do not guarantee the storage, backup, or retention of any data, content, or messages.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important data.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Agronet harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• your use of the Services
• your content
• your violation of these Terms
• disputes between you and other users

14. Reviews and Ratings

• Users may leave 1–5 star ratings.
• Reviews represent user opinions, not Agronet’s.
• We may remove abusive or fraudulent reviews.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion to:

• comply with legal requirements
• protect users or the platform
• prevent fraud, abuse, or security risks

You may close your account at any time.

16. Legal

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

All disputes will be resolved in Ontario courts.

17. Mobile App

Mobile apps are subject to additional terms from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Download and use them at your own risk.
